Marina City Cat Tower
Some friends of mine have an insanely cute, fat, and fluffy cat named Gimlet. Based on an Instagram video they saw, I built them a Cat Scratcher based off of the iconic Chicago “Corncob” building, AKA, Marina City. I laser cut many cardboard pieces and stacked them on top of each other. I used 3 1/2″ wooden dowels that went through holes in the cardboard and screwed to the base board to hole everything in place. Getting rid of the laser cutting smell took almost as much effort as the cutting, as it lingered for a while, causing me to have to sponge and vacuum it to totally remove the smell.
Kneeling Table
I wanted a nice place for my girlfriend and I to do our stained glass work, so I created a “kneeling table” about 15″ off the ground, so that you can comfortably kneel or sit criss-cross while working at the table. I was able to use only scrap wood that I salvaged from the makerspace, and I am fairly happy with how it came out. it uses an old sanding table top board for the main structure, with thing spoil boards that can be easily replaced in sections on top.
Honeycomb Wreath
A lovely wreath shaped like a honeycomb for our front door. Plush Bees or flowers can be placed on it for a greater effect

Stained Glass
Years after getting to try stained glass for the first time, I decided to get some equipment and do it more-so far it has been a blast! Glass is nothing like the plastic and metal that I am used to, and so I enjoy the challenge of a material that I need to almost tiptoe around. Stained glass is challenging, but I am finding it very relaxing and I feel like I am improving!
WallEyes T-Shirt
Inspired by a joke phrase that a friend said to me, I designed these t-shirts with the phrase:
WALL EYES
WALLEYES
WALL LIES
as a parody of the “Real eyes, realize, real lies” meme that was popular in the early 2010s.
Intentionally designed to have a strange visual appearance, these T-shirts are now available on redbubble.
